Event — is a significant effect that applies to all players at the end of each round.
In the game, events are represented by cards that display:
Event card is drawn every time a player explores a new province tile. Place the cards face up on the event grid, three cards per row. The player who revealed the event places their voting cube from the box onto it.
At the end of the round in which players revealed the first 3 event cards, cast your votes for the events in the first row that you consider most favorable. Then, apply the effects of all activated event card blocks that received a sufficient number of votes.
From then on, you will supplement the first row of revealed event cards so that it is always filled and played in each round.
Luckily, not all effects are applied. Activation of blocks of every event card is defined by voting. It creates some space for diplomacy. Some events are devastating for you, some strengthen your economy, and others make your opponents' plans impossible. Therefore, you should get prepared for events in advance and enlist the support of other players before voting. Diplomacy is one of the ways to win the game.
