¶Colored cubes with 8 mm side (5/16 inch) - player cubes
Action cubes define how much you can do in a round. You put your cube on one area and perform the corresponding action. Available action cubes are placed in your player zone near your player mat. You can obtain more cubes from the action cube supply on a player mat, once you construct new cities and castles.
Once all of your action cubes are used, you no longer can take actions this round and you should pass.
Attack cubes are added to the bag during the battle. Drawn cubes of your color mean enemy losses, and drawn enemy attack cubes are your losses.
Affiliation cubes are placed on borrowedtechnology cards and achievement cards to indicate that you possess them.
Voting cubes are used for voting for preferred event cards out of 3 possible.
Experience cubes are are stored on your government card. Each government defines its own ways of acquiring experience cubes. Those can be used as attack cubes, voting cubes or risk mitigators. At the end of the game, each unused experience cube will grant you .
Adversity cubes are placed on various game components and represent different types of problems. These components either stop functioning or have their features altered. You can overcome these adversities and discard the black cubes, thereby regaining control over your components and earning Glory.
